Putting that aside, the Open Web Awards is now in its 3rd year. Hooray! As an advocate of the power of social media, Mashable in partnership with Motorola came up with this online awards. People get to nominate and vote his or her favorite social media stuff (game, app, company, etc.). Anything that we see that rocks the web and social media. The contest has a lot of categories to list here. Just login using your Twitter or Facebook account and nominate.

Deadline for nominations is on November 15. After the nominations, top 5 nominees will advance to the voting round from which we can vote as winner of that category. Voting starts November 18 until December 13. Winners will be announced on December 15.
