Twitter, Facebook Died on Us

Around 13:00 UTC (if my timezone conversion is correct), social websites Twitter and Facebook died. I “shed tears” for those websites. Apparently, a crude but seemingly effective method of bringing a website down was used. I didn’t notice this because I was asleep between 12:30-15:00 UTC.
